the ultimate marketing plan

We are constantly bombarded with marketing ideas and strategies, and the more we learn about marketing, the more we think we know it all. It’s not what you think it is. It’s not an easy process to understand what it is, but the good news is that it has been done time and time again.

The biggest myth about marketing is that it’s all about spending money. The truth is that you spend time, money, and energy on a lot of things that don’t actually contribute to your bottom line. Just think about the costs of the following: Website hosting, content creation, graphics, writing, editing, social networks, email marketing, and blogging. Marketing is just one part of the equation.

Marketing is one part of the equation. It is one of the first things that you should consider when talking to people about marketing. Most people focus on the first few things, but forget about the other things. It’s also one of the most difficult things to do because it’s very subjective. What works for one person may not work for another person. But, it’s an opinion, so let’s do it.

I know which website I would prefer to link to first, because that’s where my readers are. If I link to the homepage of the website I don’t know what I’m doing, so I’d rather link to the homepage than the website’s blog. If I’m going to the blog, I link to the blog, not the homepage. Again, this is just my opinion, but I think that if I was writing a blog, I would link to the blog.

I think that the above is the one thing that is universally agreed upon: A website’s homepage is where you want to link to. I would rather not list all the websites that I’m linking to here. That would take a lot of space. My main website is www.bakerstreet.com and I link to www.mybakerstreet.com because I love the Baker Street style of design.

Links are one of the three major ranking factors in Google. So if you want your website’s pages to rank high in search, you will almost certainly need links. Google (and other search engines) look at links from other sites as “votes.” These votes help them identify which page on a given topic (out of thousands of similar ones) deserves to be ranking at the very top of the search results.
