I am currently teaching a new marketing class at the University of Maryland. In the class, I will be talking about the marketing arm careers, specifically the ways how the marketing arm careers help to understand the dynamics of the marketing department at a large organization.
Marketing departments are in many ways business units, a division of the company, that oversee the company’s sales, marketing, and other business operations. Marketing departments are usually large organizations, and their size and responsibilities is a reflection of the size of the company. A small marketing department can be a great place to experiment, as there is plenty of freedom to experiment with what the company will sell.
A marketing department can be quite small as well, but it is large enough to be influential. Marketing department are usually spread out across the organization, so many of the department’s decisions are made outside of the company’s usual chain of command. For instance, marketing departments often make decisions concerning the company’s advertising campaigns.

I was also responsible for creating marketing materials and executing marketing plans. I was also responsible for creating and maintaining marketing campaigns for marketing departments.
In marketing, you will only be paid for your work, so if you are not making any money, then you will not be earning money. But if you are making money, then you are making money.
