Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013)
Assassin’s Creed takes you into an open world environment where your character can interact with anything they see; this includes picking up items and talking to NPCs. The story revolves around Desmond Miles trying to find some artifacts before the Templars get their hands on them. With this game, the series has gone from a linear experience to one that is more open-ended and there are many different outcomes possible depending on your choices.
Super Smash Bros Melee (2001)
This game was originally released for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2001 and it continued where its prequel left off. This installment features some of the most famous video game characters ever made such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus Aran and Pikachu! Its gameplay is based around fighting with weapons while trying not to let any opponents knock you out of an arena or make it impossible for you to return back inside within a certain time frame. It’s never too late to give this game a try!
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)
This game is one that many people consider to be the best video games ever made. It was first released on Nintendo 64 and it’s a third person open world adventure with puzzles, dungeons to explore, townsfolk to meet and quests to complete. Link has always been an iconic character in this series but he is more mature in this installment which adds something new for players who are seeking out more than just another hack-and-slash title. In 1998 there were few titles as groundbreaking as Ocarina of Time; now it’s 2013 so we’ve seen better graphics since then but it still holds up very well against newer titles because what matters most is the gameplay.
Halo: Combat Evolved (2001)
This game was released on Xbox in 2001 and it’s considered to be one of the best first-person shooters out there with a lot of replayability value because players can go through all its levels in any order they want! There are many different weapons, vehicle types and enemies for you to take down which makes this game very addictive once you get started playing; but make sure not to spend too much time in front of your console if you’re still living at home because that might make things awkward between family members. This installment set a high standard for FPS’s so newer titles have had trouble topping it over the years.
Fallout: New Vegas (2010)
Fallout: New Vegas is the fourth installment in a series of games that are set in post-apocalyptic America. It was released on October 19, 2010 and it lets players roam an open world wasteland as they please; take quests from different factions or do what you like! This game has been praised because its dialogue system allows for more player interaction than ever before and there’s plenty to see and explore while your character levels up. Plus, if you’re into shooting guns then this one should be right down your alley since Fallout: NV revolves around gunplay instead of magic attacks which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea when playing RPGs.
Kingdom Hearts II (2005)
Kingdom Hearts II was released on December 22, 2005 in North America for the PlayStation II and it’s one of the best-selling video games ever made due to its popularity. This game is a lot more anime related than most others are which has polarized gamers who prefer either realistic or fantastical settings; but that shouldn’t stop you from playing this adventure! Sora goes through different Disney worlds such as Tarzan’s jungle, Beast’s forest and Alice In Wonderland while trying to find his friends after they were captured by their enemies.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (2011)
This game was originally created by Bungie Studios back in 2001 so someone decided it would be cool if there was an anniversary edition with updated graphics. It came out on November 15, 2011 and it lets players experience the same game as they did almost a decade ago but with some new additions like extra content to play through which is nice for people who want something familiar yet fresh.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (2000)
