Now I could just jump in and say that social media is a type of marketing that focuses on interaction between people. But I also could say that it’s a type of marketing that emphasizes social engagement. It’s a great tool for creating connections with customers. I’m just not sure how many of us actually use it to create that social engagement.

The two things that I’m most certain of are that the word “social” and “social media” are often used as synonyms. And while they aren’t the same thing, there’s a decent amount of overlap between the two. You will see social media referred to by companies as social media marketing or social media management. You will see social media referred to as an online marketing strategy or a social marketing strategy.

The truth is, it’s not that complicated. Simply put, social media marketing is a method of creating and communicating with others about your brand through social media. It can mean social media marketing, a social media marketing strategy, a social media marketing campaign, or a social media campaign strategy. It all boils down to the same thing, which is creating online content to be shared with friends and followers on social media.

Social media marketing is the most recent marketing trend to get its start in the late 90s. It was called web-based search marketing, but it’s now becoming the term that gets used to represent social media marketing. As the term social media marketing came into use, people started thinking about ways to use it as a marketing tool.

Social media marketing involves a lot of different elements. Basically, it involves the combination of a social media website (or a social media website and a social media platform), a social media user, and some sort of advertising strategy to help grow the user base of the social media website. Basically, it involves building a following of followers on social media, then building some sort of relationship with them that allows them to be a part of the platform.

As mentioned in my earlier article on the subject, Facebook and Twitter are the two most popular social media platforms for marketers. Most social media platforms are basically just a way for people to connect with each other and share things on a common platform. Like, the website/app/service/etc. that allows people to communicate on a common platform like email or text messages. As a business owner, you need to create a social media marketing strategy.
