The writings of Sigmund Freud were the first to introduce psychological theories of personality and how humans develop and develop. The post will explore how his ideas influenced psychoanalytical perspective on personality, and discuss some other influential theorists in the field.

Psychoanalytical theories are connected to a particular type of psychotherapy, known as psychoanalysis or cognitive- behavioral psychology. These approaches are based on understanding human action, motivation, and emotion through interpersonal relationships. 

This culminates into understanding which behavior patterns will allow one to live happier lives in their personal lives with their friends, family members or loved ones.

Psychoanalytical approach to understanding personality is quite broad. This is because it draws from many different avenues for studying human behavior. Psychoanalysts are reliant on psychoanalytic theory, which examines such aspects as the unconscious mind, ego functioning, defense mechanisms, dreams and symbolism.

Psychoanalytic theory has been used for decades to understand and treat mental illnesses. For example, They studied aspects such as: “A young woman who was sexually assaulted by a string of different men, how does that affect her mental health? “. In order to understand the effect of a single event such as this on someone’s mental health, the researcher must have a thorough understanding of how people function psychologically.

3. What is your favorite movie?

This research study was conducted using case studies. It had to consider the methodologies of psychoanalytical theory, relating it to research on human behavior and emotion. Early psychiatric study sought to understand why people acted in certain ways, their “social” or “emotional” motivations behind them and their thought patterns in regards to others or themselves like an unconscious mind had no thoughts towards them.

4. What kind of music do you listen to?

The researcher must have an understanding of psychoanalytical theory, the different concepts of behavior, and how to conduct a thorough psychoanalytical research study. The researcher must be able to look into themselves and study how their own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are expressed through their personal relationships with others.

5. What is your favorite book?

This was another method used in this study. The researcher performed their research by evaluating, studying, and analyzing all aspects of human behavior related to the subject matter. This included behavior, personality, relationships and even mental health.

The researcher must have an understanding of psychoanalytical theory, the different concepts of behavior, and how to conduct a thorough psychoanalytical research study. The researcher must be able to look into themselves and study how their own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are expressed through their personal relationships with others.

Freud and his associate, Carl Jung, led the psychoanalytic school of thought during the early 20th century. The psychoanalytic theory focused around personality development and how early childhood experiences affect our behavior as adults. 

Freud believed human beings developed through three stages: oral, anal and phallic stages, in which various conflicts were resolved that influenced adult personalities and behaviors later in life.
