A recent article in The New York Times described the recent increase in the number of people opting for “primetime vision” marketing. Why do they want to do this? Well, primetime vision is a marketing technique that is based on the notion that everything that happens in between is important, and therefore the less we think about it, the more important it is.
In other words, if you’re on an airplane, you’re on your own. Even if you’re traveling in a car or a train, you’re on your own. If you’re at the airport, you’re on your own. Even if you’re at home, you’re on your own. And if you’re at work, you’re on your own. But if you’re on your own, you’re on your own.

It’s a way of marketing to people who are already on vacation and therefore haven’t had time to look around or think about the places they are going.
