An approach that isnt going to produce results isnt good. And a good strategy for a product or service doesnt really mean anything. It just means a way of handling things that is best for that particular situation. It doesnt mean a way of managing people.

Yes, marketers need to get involved with marketing their products. And yes, they need to get involved with marketing their people. And yes, there are other ways to manage them, but the key here is to focus on the actual product itself.
