It’s not just about selling a product, it’s about selling your story. We can all relate to this and I think it’s one of the most challenging tasks we will ever face.
Most of the businesses we’ve worked with have a strong business model, but its often hard to get into the mindset of a customer. The more you sell the more likely you will become a salesman, and the more salespeople you become, the more of a risk it becomes to try to make an impression on people. But that’s one of the ways I’ve seen marketers make the most impact in the process of selling.

So if I’m a barber and I want to sell you a haircut, I might start by saying “we have 5 great haircuts for the price of 1” and then go out of my way to make that look so irresistible.

But marketing is really about how much you make for your business. If you have a great product and it’s a great service – like haircutting – you make it as good as possible.

So if you make it better, you can have a lot more customers.
This is very true. It is also true that marketing is a great way to make a business grow because it is effective. For example, if you make a new company’s website better, you will end up having more customers and therefore making your company better. This is a good thing.
