I’m going to start a new job as a Customer Service Representative. I’m going to be working at the Burlington Coat Factory (BCF). BCF is a major fabric manufacturer, and I am joining the team in the customer service department. I will be responsible for fielding customer calls and inquiries.

They say if you work in customer service you can see it as a form of life. It’s not that they see it as a form of death, but I think they do. If you get called into a customer service department, you’re likely to be pretty miserable. I had a call from a client that sounded like a nightmare. They were calling from the North Pole, and I knew from the tone of their voice that they were in a bad spot.

Well, we’ve all been there. I had a client in the hospital from a heart attack, and I was like, “Well, I hope you don’t have any more problems, but just know that we’ll be here for you.” I mean, a few years ago I had a client in the ICU who sounded like he was a zombie, all twitchy and scared. I thought, “I’m sorry, this is going to be a bad day.

This is a very common scenario for marketing people, so you can imagine how frustrating it can be. So many people who have marketing jobs think the best thing for their companies is to hire the best person in the business. But if you look at the job of the marketing person, you will find out that their job is to promote them and to get them out the door. The marketing person has no clue how to make a sale, because they are actually a salesman.

The marketing person is a terrible salesperson. They are not in the business of selling you anything, they are in the business of getting your company out of the ditch and to the top of the sales ranking. And the only way they can do this is to put on a sales pitch. If you take a look at any sales pitch, you will find that it is full of jargon, self-serving BS, and just plain wrong.

This is what happens when you take sales people out of marketing. They are basically salesmen with a sales pitch who have somehow managed to convince themselves they are the best in the business. The truth is that the sales people in marketing are just mediocre salespeople who happen to have a sales pitch. And this is the problem. How can you expect someone to be a good sales person if you are not teaching them how to sell? It is because you are not teaching them how to sell.

There is a growing sense that marketing is no longer a profession. It’s become a bunch of numbers that are thrown at the wall and sold to the lowest bidder, so as not to piss off the boss. This has led to a few things. Most importantly, a feeling that the company is not a business and is a bunch of numbers with a sales pitch that will get you a great piece of paper at the end of the day.

No, this isn’t a new thing. We’ve had a few sales people in the past (or maybe one of them is me) who were the same. They just didn’t know how to sell the fact that they were in sales. You need to understand the sales process, and you need to know the market segment. I know this from experience because I was once paid $1000 for a demo of the product, and I don’t think I was ever sold the product.

You need to understand your market and the market segment you are in. You need to know what kind of salesperson you are going to be. You dont want to hire someone who has never sold anything before or who cant sell the product in a way that sells. You will be more successful if you are able to show the company a realistic idea of what you are able to sell. This is not an easy thing to do, and you probably need to hire someone who is good at this.

You need to have a good idea of the size of your market and what kind of salesperson you should be hiring. These can be very different ideas. For example, in the medical device market, you are likely to be competing against a large number of different companies, which means that you will need to have a good idea of what kind of salesperson you should be hiring.
