It was a couple weeks ago when I was watching a TED talk on marketing, and I thought it was really interesting that most of the speakers said that the reason they were so successful at marketing was because they were so aware of how they were marketing. I couldn’t help wondering, “What did they mean, because they were so aware of?” I started thinking about it more. I started wondering if it was true that most of our marketing is automatic.

The marketing world is rife with people who are so aware of how they are marketing that they don’t even need to think about marketing at all. The problem with marketing, and marketing in general, is that it doesn’t really require a lot of thought. The marketing world has created a lot of marketing automation that will send the message out of your mouth without your even having to think about it.

This is called “automation.” That is, when a company or service or product can produce a product without you having to think about it. Marketing automation is a marketing automation tool that replaces the need for a marketing person to think about marketing. It is software that will track your marketing efforts and make suggestions to maximize results.

We are all marketing people, but few of us would think that marketing automation is a good idea for us.
