If you’re like me, you probably have a very busy life. You’ll probably be able to get away with less than the rest of us, but you need to put things in perspective. As we get older, we tend to become more distracted and less focused on the task at hand. Instead of just doing our job, we want to be doing something extra or more fun.

In the same way that we all want to get a jump on life, we can all be distracted by the next big thing. As we age, we tend to do less and less around tasks we don’t want to do. We want to be somewhere else. At the same time, we may not be doing our job right. Joining a meeting, talking with coworkers, or even texting away at work can end up being a distraction.

If you ever feel like you’re having a hard time focusing on what you’re doing, you can do a few things to help. First, you can ask your co-workers how they’re doing. Second, you can make sure you have your phone charged and on the charger. While the phone is out, you can look at your work from afar. Sometimes, just looking at your phone can help. After all, we can’t see the screen.

Our phones are a great way to see what were doing. The thing is, many of the distractions our phones can cause are a direct result of our work habits. We can’t just make a quick text and be done with it, because then we’ll have to take a long lunch or call someone back to take a call. We need to make sure we’re on the job and on task, and that we’re not distracted.

That’s why I like to use a combination of some of my apps to help keep me on task. One app is called “Caffeine,” and has been helping me stay focused for the past year. I’m a big fan of using the app for caffeine, because it keeps me alert and energized.

With Caffeine, I use it to keep my phone on me. I know that the coffee should go into my stomach, but that doesn’t mean I have to have a full cup. For some reason, I think the more caffeine that I drink, the easier it is to stay focused.

I don’t have a problem with paying for apps that work well. I do have a problem with apps that are used to sell you something, but not useful. But I do admit I’ve found that when I’m working on my marketing game, I’m usually up to no good. I get distracted, forget where I’m supposed to be (or what I might want to do), and end up making my marketing game useless. That’s why my app is free.

So what happens when you just don’t want to work anymore? You can’t work? That’s a problem. It’s not a problem alone. It has many different underlying causes that go beyond not wanting work. But if you can’t work, you don’t have to.
