I think one of the most important things for marketing students to learn is that marketing is not about selling anything. It’s about building a relationship, which is all about creating a customer that is willing to buy more things. This means thinking about relationships from the customer’s point of view. The most important thing is to never lose sight of this. If you think about the customer’s perspective, your marketing strategy and customer experience will be much more effective.
marketing is a very personal thing, so it is natural for students to focus on building relationships with their peers, not just with their professors. But it is also possible for students to learn how to be as effective in marketing as their classmates. But how effective? Well the most effective marketing strategy is to figure out the most effective way to market students.
The secret is making it easy to see your marketing efforts in the context of the bigger picture. You can’t really be effective if you spend all your marketing budget on one single student, and you can’t really be effective if you don’t try to take a holistic approach to marketing. What you should be doing is trying to get to know your prospective customers and then figure out how to market them. And it’s not as difficult as you think.

There are some marketing strategies that you should NEVER try. I’ve seen some horror stories come out of students’ marketing campaigns where they got really frustrated and quit trying. These students didn’t even realize they were making the wrong decision. They just did it because they thought it would work.
I have seen so many students just say, “That sucks! I wish I could just quit and do something else.” There are some marketing tactics that are 100% effective but will never happen. I have personally seen some campaigns where students were told to just go with what they knew and what they have done to promote themselves. Well the students never did anything because they were being told what to do.
This is when you start to get on your own and start doing things that might be wrong. The other day my friend and I were talking about how bad the marketing side of our school was because they just did everything they could to make us feel as though we were the center of attention. So we decided to do some research.
One of the most effective methods of helping students market themselves is to build it into their daily life. Many colleges have a student activity area. These are usually free and allow you to create anything you want (and some that you probably shouldn’t). These are the times where students should be allowed to do things they know are wrong.
We decided to take this idea to school. We spent five days at school doing the same thing, but made it a rule that we wouldn’t do anything we wanted to do. We went through every student activity area and found nothing we wanted to do. We even went through each of the cafeteria classes and found that most had nothing we wanted to do. This is because there is a big difference between what students should be allowed to do and what they should be doing.
